DESCRIPTION ::

Butyl diglycol (BDG), also known as diethylene glycol monobutyl ether or 2-(2-butoxyethoxy)ethanol, is a clear, colorless, organic liquid with a mild odor. It is a versatile solvent known for its low volatility, high boiling point, and ability to mix well with both water and various organic solvents. 

APPLICATION ::

• Paints and Coatings: Used extensively in the paint and coating industries as a flow promoter and coalescing agent to improve film formation, durability, and a smooth finish.
• Cleaning Agents: An effective solvent for grease, oil, and dirt, it is found in various household and industrial cleaners, floor wax strippers, and metal cleaners.
• Printing Inks: Serves as a solvent in specialty printing inks, particularly for silk screen and ballpoint pen inks.
