Sodium Sulphite is a highly effective product used in boiler water treatment to prevent corrosion and pitting caused by dissolved oxygen. Since sulfite is not naturally present in water, it is added as a conditioning agent. The catalyst accelerates the reaction between sulfite and oxygen, making it ideal for rapid oxygen removal at elevated temperatures. Maintaining a slight excess ensures complete deoxygenation, safeguarding the boiler internals from damage. It is especially suited for low- to medium-pressure boilers.
